"Goin Mimis" by Sleeping on Stardust
After much delay, i am happy to announce the cassette debut of the epic cybergrind album "Goin Mimis" by Sleeping on Stardust.
The album is a whopping 59 minutes. Something a bit unheard of in a genre like cybergrind where songs are more on the shorter side.
It really runs the gamut of genres in general. Operatic sung passages by frequent collaborator, Ramona Cuervo, a whole host of guest musicians that all bring a fresh perspective on their featured songs, sick riffy dual guitar parts, trap metal verses with synthy trance beats. It goes on.
There's a sense of urgency in the album. to call back to our younger selves. And heal from the past but, also to not get lost in nostalgia. to live in the present, in spite of a future unknown.
With such a grand album, it's only right it physically exist in this world on cassette. So almost 2 years since the album originally released on digital, "Goin Mimis" comes to tape in 2025. Available now.
